NCAA Discusses Termination of Field of 68’s Media Rights

By Rob Reinhart

The NCAA is discussing revoking the Field of 68 Media Network’s broadcast and press privileges, per sources.

I’m told that the league considered Field of 68’s Opening Day Marathon, “a disaster.” The game streams during the event went down multiple times and no apology was issued by the company, which greatly dissatisfied top brass at the NCAA.

Sources say one member of the NCAA’s broadcasting team called the event, “An absolute amateur hour…I’m not sure how they even got the okay to do this. If I had final say, those guys would never sponsor an NCAA event again.”
